Job summary
It is an exciting time for our client as they continue a major transformation programme. Their ambition is to become the world's leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data.


Working as part of the Transformation directorate, as either Central Change Manager or Local Land Charges Change Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Change Managers, the Portfolio Office, Benefits Team, Programme and Project Managers, as wellas other Change Managers.

The Change Managers form a network across offices focussing on engaging with change initiatives and helping them land well.


Job description


Working as a key member of the national change network, considering all their wide changes, you will help the organisation to develop consistent approaches to ensure successful implementation.

You will work with other parts of the business including HR andProject Management office to develop, review and monitor People Change Impact Assessments, identifying and mitigating and escalating risks.


Liaising with programme managers, project managers and the wider portfolio office to ensure the transition plan is kept up to date and accurately predicts organisational change load.

You will support the development and implementation of communications and engagement strategies for all affected stakeholders utilising best practice. Influencing senior managers and advocating for the people change framework.


You will provide practical support through facilitated workshops and constructively challenge where appropriate project teams in their approach to change in line with each stage of the People Change Framework, acting as critical friend during this process.


You will be responsible for planning and delivering development activity to improve change management capability across the Change Management network and the organisation.

Please note you will need to be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

There will be regular travel to other their offices, with occasional travel to other organisations, including other Government departments and occasional overnight stays.


Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.


Person specification


To be successful in this role you must demonstrate proven ability of working in a team and building trusted working relationships.

You will be able to demonstrate active involvement in delivering change initiatives and supporting benefits realisation.


You will have experience of constructively challenging, in a professional manner and following a change management framework, using relevant templates and tools.

You will have the ability to communicate openly and influence others at all levels, including senior leaders. You have experience of facilitating meetings and workshops, with a methodical and rational approach to problem solving.

It is desirable that you hold a Change Management (practitioner level) qualification, although they can support you with this.
