We are very pleased to be working with a Liverpool based lender on their search for a finance assistant, to join their growing team.
You would be working in a small finance team, compiling financial and non-financial records, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure financial processes are effectively administrated.
- Reconciliation of payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software.
- Creating and performing supplier payment runs.
- Monitor, reconcile and reporting on employee expenses.
- Reconciling accounting data to ensure accuracy.
- Reconciling of stakeholder payments and statements.
- Preparation and submission of compliance requirements.
- Using accounting software.
- Updating and reconciling financial ledgers.
- Assisting the Finance Director with preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the company.
- Verifying company expenses, bank deposits and bank payments.
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Finance Director/Heads of Department.
Skills/ Experience:
- Previous experiences in a similar role.
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent people and relationship building skills.
- Detailorientated and with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, driven, relentless and a proven closer.
- Passionate approach to customer experience.
- An eye for building new processes and challenging the status quo.
- Love to solve problems and be challenged.
- To be a constant learner.
