We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Counter to join our team

The rate of pay for this role is
£10.57 per hour.


The shift pattern is
5
days per week - Monday to Friday
(40 hours per week) 8pm-6am Monday - Thursday.

The purpose of this role is to maintain high levels of stock accuracy, to work in line with the Food Hygiene Standards and Health and Safety Regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Completing of perpetual inventory counts in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring stock accuracy across site.
  • Help deliver a site stocktake on a frequency determined by business needs.
  • To work in a flexible manner, with the ability of working with different functions within Operations.
  • Ensuring that you adhere to safe working practices and good housing keeping practices.
  • To work well as part of a team, ensuring that you help and support each other in all tasks that need to be completed.
  • Develop relationships, working practices, and effective communication channels with colleagues within Operations and Finance, to work together in the joint ownership of any issues and problemsolving activities.
  • Promote and work within the Finlays values in all tasks that are completed to ensure that the organisation can achieve its core purpose.
  • Identify individual training needs and show an enthusiasm to learn and develop with the role of Stock Counter.
  • Work in close partnership with fellow Warehouse & Blending Operatives and other Departments to promote shared knowledge, transfer of skills and experience.
  • Ensure that you follow and adhere to the Attendance Policy and arrive for your shift in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that you follow and adhere to the Hygiene Policy.
