Description

A junior estimator is responsible for supporting and assisting the senior estimating team, using in house systems to calculate the cost of materials that is required for a contract to be successfully completed.


It also includes providing correct and accurate estimation or calculation of expenses that are required for the construction and completion of a particular project.


  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collecting and gathering the information that will be used to produce project estimates.
  • Quantifying materials from drawings, and compiling various material and labour rates, required for construction bids.
  • Preparing quantity and cost estimates for multiple projects.
  • Visiting project sites and attending client meetings, when required.
  • Assisting the senior estimating team where needed.
In house training will be provided.


Salary:
£22,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
