Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You'll be part of our Platform Design community and will support our Sales teams in demonstrating what our platform can do for clients and partners.
Kaluza is developing 2 solutions that enable organisations in the energy industry to realise net zero and you will work across both of them.
Our Retail solution brings advanced automation and agility to energy retailers, providing the tools they need to transform their operating systems, adapt to changing regulations and lead in the energy transition.
Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy.
What will I be doing?
You'll help power the success of Kaluza in our target markets by designing demos and concepts to engage and delight prospective clients.
You will play a key role in supporting the sales process ensuring we can bring to life the vision and power of Kaluza to prospective clients.
Throughout the sales process, you will quickly visualise journeys and craft excellent demo experiences by liaising with product designers in different domains and understanding the pitch requirements.
You will be experienced in working with design systems, and how to use patterns and components effectively.You'll do this by:
- Collaborating deeply with the sales and commercial team
- Working in partnership with product designers from different areas of the business
- Always looking for ways to improve and iterate processes, being highly organised and designing to tight deadlines
- Crafting detailed and polished high fidelity prototypes
- Confidently presenting your ideas and decisions to stakeholders

- Ideally, you will have:_
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for good design
- Open to feedback and ability to take part in constructive design critiques
- Good collaboration skills, and a willingness to share learnings with other designers
- Mastery of UI design tools (Figma) and using components, symbols, styles and libraries
- Knowledge of interaction design industry trends and patterns across all device types and screen sizes
- An understanding of the product development process, from user experience research through to detailed UI and visual design
- The ability to shift gears in a fast changing environment
- Some experience in working on software demos and commercial pitches in a B2B and SaaS space
