We are looking for a Central Attendance Officerto join our supportive and talented team.

We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our pupil and students' learning.


Reporting to the Attendance Manager, the Central Attendance Officer will support the Federation's attendance strategy, through coaching and advising academies in raising attendance with the intention of improving pupil and student achievement.

They will work with attendance and safeguarding teams to provide high quality support and guidance for academy-based colleagues, as well as analysing and reporting on attendance data to help identify vulnerabilities and inform improvement plans.

The postholder will regularly review processes and look to make recommendations and improvements where appropriate.


At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the attendance function within the Trust.

The post will involve working with our academies including Principals, attendance and safeguarding teams and building strong relationships across the Trust and our external partners.

As part of this work, you will be required to visit academy sites and therefore, being mobile is important to the role.
