MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new Cookstown client who are an ambitious international Jewellery company with customers throughout the UK, Europe and Asia.

Due to a surge in demand, the company are seeking a
Stock Controller to join their expanding team.

Working with the sales team and manufacturing partners across the world, you will manage all stock movements within the business through sales forecasting and sales history.

You will engage in product demand planning ensuring that our jewellery is available when and where it is required.


Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Successfully forecast our stock requirements using historical sales data
  • Work to maximise profits through just in time production, and improve efficiencies in deliveries to us and our customers
  • Engage in order processing, returns management, and redistributing inventory across all departments and key partners
  • Working with internal stakeholders, manage excess stock to increase stock efficiencies.
  • Manage our internal Purchase orders and deal with our own team in Asia and global suppliers to manage production and quality and that they adhere to our shipping/ production requirements
  • Manage internal stock checks to ensure accurate up to date data
  • Manage weekly stock movements to our key partners globally
  • Provide assistance in the analysis the full life cycle of our products and implement change where necessary
  • Work with designers to manage new product launches, product promotions and POS
  • Identify and implement new procedures to ensure our products adhere to global consumer protections laws
  • Report to internal stakeholders including CEO on performance of products and suppliers
  • Produce weekly stock performance reports
  • Produce regular supplier performance reports, devising and implementing new KPI's to ensure efficient supplier relationships
  • Working with the CEO establish new budgets and ensure that these are adhered to.
  • Preparation and delivery of monthly reports as required to the sales team and senior management

Essential Criteria:


  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Sound decisionmaking skills and the ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Excellent microsoft excel knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Capability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to work out budgets and understand sales figures.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers.

From £28,000.00 per year
