Cartier - Archive Assistant, New Bond Street

(temporary position until mid September Full Time)

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Key responsibilities

  • Checking existing inventories and create box lists where needed
  • Preparing collections for long term storage; reboxing and wrapping, labelling and packing as required
  • Assisting in a quality control exercise in advance of some collections being placed in long term cold storage

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Previous experience working in an archive or museum context or a demonstrable awareness of how to handle and care for heritage collections
  • A conscientious, methodical approach; ability to show initiative
  • Ability to move and lift collections (boxes, ledgers etc)
