_ About this role_
As a User Researcher, you'll be accountable for providing best-in-class digital customer insights to ensure the teams design the best experiences for customers and advisors, encouraging them to take a data-driven approach.
You will be responsible for a customer segment within the Business based upon a combination of your background, your development needs and interest, and the business need.
You'll own this segment's research roadmap and strategy, building cross-functional relationships to support you and the researchteam.
You will be part of forming a new research capability within Digital, so come with ideas and energy to help drive research momentum.
As an already active member of the Research community, you'll stand up for best practices and be enthusiastic about promoting a user-centred way of working within the department and beyond.
Your Responsibilities
- Advocate as the objective voice of our users, driving needsbased innovation and worldclass quality experiences.
- Lead adoption of various user research methods across product teams, initially running the research process and enabling longterm capability development.
- Implement research strategy, incorporating findings into the Digital strategy and collaborating with Customer Experience and group insights teams.
- Prioritize research opportunities in collaboration with Product teams and Design Managers.
- Collate research findings, prevent duplication of learning activities, and facilitate sharing across Enterprise Digital.
- Utilize research findings to drive actionable recommendations for continuous product improvements.
- Improve the practice and deployment of user research within the Enterprise Digital team, focusing on generative and summative research.
- Utilize technical expertise and knowledge of accessibility to identify and address digital exclusion, coaching teams on best practices.
- Drive forward ways of working, support managers, and contribute as an individual contributor to ensure team and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a key consultation point and proactive member of the department.
