£35,000 + Vehicle


Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mobile Operations Manager on behalf of one of our clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage all field operatives.
  • Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the inflight and logistics workforce.
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely and on time.
  • Toolbox talks and attend in house rescue / HSE training.
  • Customer service, on the phone and site visits.
  • Write reports for jobs that require some explanation / conclusion.
  • Ensure that planned servicing and maintenance of all vehicles is kept up to date as and when required and that records are kept accordingly.
  • Site H&S and quality checks.
  • To conduct WhatsApp or telephone checkins with all teams each day.
  • All updates to be followed up in writing to the teams/office/client accordingly.
  • To conduct site visits and complete site monitoring forms. To submit at least 5 completed forms per week.
  • To manage the delivery of all jobs. To ensure works are delivered in the most efficient, and safest way possible always looking at ways to improve.
  • To manage the productivity of all jobs, ensuring works are carried out on time and within budget.
  • Be able to set and communicate reasonable and practical timeframes with the site teams. Works can be dynamic at times, having the ability to adapt effectively and efficiently is key.
  • Weekly submission of site monitoring forms covering H&S, quality and vehicle/kit checks.
  • Capturing any further works, defects or repairs required as part of the above process will be key. This individual must have an eye for upselling and commercial value for both the company and clients.
  • Follow up with clients (directly or via the office) to confirm changes with the plan of work, progress or completion of works.
  • To communicate immediately with all parties involved when handling complaints or complaint related queries.
  • To ensure all complaint related queries are closed out in a timely manner and logged. Template and process is existing and is functioning well.
  • Share observations from site visits, updates plan of action or program of work.
  • Increase productivity.
  • Increase profitability.
  • Take photos and videos while on site of teams working for marketing content.
  • Post and share stories about work on social media.
  • Attend important sales and marketing meetings.
  • Manage onsite facility, including ongoing maintenance and improvement works, materials etc.
  • Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing education and communication opportunities for high performers.
  • Attend health and safety courses.
  • Ensure that the company's ethos is being maintained.
  • Innovate new systems.
  • Arrange appropriate training for all new staff in driving, first aid, manual handling and general use of vehicles.
  • Help with yearly business development plan.
  • Hold the team accountable to delivering the business development plan.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Must have excellent planning and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.
  • Able to communicate and manage to a senior level.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and system such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work in challenging environments with a myriad of personalities.
  • Comfortable with change, able to challenge the status quo.
