My client, based near Bracknell in Berkshire (hybrid working), is looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this Financial Controller role.

The organisation is a fast moving, PE-backed technology business and the finance team has grown and developedover the past few years.

They are now in a position where they need to strengthen the team and this role reports to the Director who in turn reports to the strategic and 'hands-off' CFO.

Managing c5 people, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the end-to-end finance processes and procedures as well as supporting the Director with strategic projects including acquisitions and systems etc.

Duties include:

Review and completion of monthly management reporting packs for various UK entities, including P&L vs. latest forecast with analytical review, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
KPI reporting
Group VAT Returns
Payroll reviews and PAYE reporting
Assist with acquisition accounting and ongoing fair value accounting
Assist with Statutory Financial Statements and Corporation Tax computation and return

You will be a qualified accountant.

This role is ideal for somebody who has trained in practice, or equally an individual who has worked their way up through a commercial entity and is looking for their first FC position.
