Description

Aspire people are recruiting for a Business Manger for a School based in Tysley Birmingham.
the role is temporary role.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in school finances and/or accountancy qualifications or similar.

Here are a few aspects to the role:
Lloyds Bank Charge Card statements
Complete Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Monthly Prepayments & Accruals list completed
Monthly GAG remittance Advice from ESFA recorded on Access and transfer of money
Completion of IECT Reconciliation
Weekly Record of Smart payments for both schools for FA to add on Access
Misc Income entered on Access
Responsible for the financial administration for Purchasing: orders, deliveries & Invoices on a weekly basis
Weekly BACS run completed by FA, reports are checked
Produce monthly consolidated VAT reports and submit to HMRC for refund
Ensure all attachments are uploaded to Access
Oversee Recharges
Oversee Agency staff/Supply expenditure
Process monthly Secondment Charges
Oversee monthly charge card expenditure -ensuring costed to the correct cost centres
Update Asset Register & fixed Asset register including Donations from ESFA
Review of all Contracts & Subscriptions
Updating Access Budgets on a half termly basis to report revised costs
Produce budget holders reports on a half termly basis
Review Financial Procedures Manual on an annual basis and update new processes
ESFA Academies Planning Calendar & Academies Financial Handbook
Completion of End of Year procedures
Working with... in preparation of budget forecast of income & expenditure for consideration
Agreed budget plans inputted in Access
Review of carried forward balances
Liase the producing of Monthly Management Accounts
Budget holder for various budgets i.e. general stock and Admin subscriptions
Banking of cash received at Lloyds bank
Retention of Finance paperwork
Renewal of Contracts, SLA and cancellations
Review of Termly SEN funding
Review Census data
Oversee other grants received
Oversee University Students Income for placements
Direct Debit payments of WMPF deficit for Support staff
Meet with Financial Consultants and Auditors to ensure the finance system is effetive & efficent
