Community Family Worker

- Location: Lisburn/ Greater Belfast
- Salary: £11.96ph
- Contract: Fixed Term to 30th June 202
- Hours of work: 2530 hours per week

What the role entails:
- The Community Family Worker will deliver the root cause programmes within the home and/or community that meets the identified needs of individuals, families and communities.
- Refer eligible individuals to the costofliving relief initiative to support with emergency relief.
Skills/ Training, Pathways to Employment, Energy Efficiency and Family/
Community Support.
- The Lisburn Community Team will support 150 families with maximised home life potential,
110 households with skills/ training, 50 households with energy efficiency and 160 households with employment pathways in collaboration with other Bryson services and Bryson Model areas.
What We Need from You:
- QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification
- Minimum of 1 years paid or unpaid experience of working with children, young people and families
- 5 GCSE's at grade C and above including English Language
- Knowledge and skills regarding the practicalities of family life and coping with family problems
- Skills e.g. Communication, Listening, Organisational, Observation, Report writing, File recording.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a sensitive approach to people in need. Ability to analyse problems and devise solutions. Ability to communicate and relate to children, young people and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Working as part of a team
- 1 years experience recording and reporting on work done
- Full & clean drivers licence and access to a car
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£11.96 per hour
