The post is a 5 hours a week fixed term contract for 10 months and requires online delivery for 2 hours on a Thursday evenings the other 3 hours is flexible across the week for planning, this post is for 18+
About You
About You:
- Experience of teaching/training/demonstrating or coaching young people
- An understanding of Youth/community work and barriers faced by marginalised communities
- Strong organisational ability with experience of leading the delivery of a programme
- Excellent communication skills with experience of tailoring content to suit a variety of audiences and supporting young people to achieve their potential
About The Role:
- Recruit young people onto the NHS Cadets Programme and encourage those enrolled to maximise opportunities available to them
- Supervise St John Ambulance youth support staff and volunteers to deliver the programme
- Support as needed with the evaluation of the programme and the production of reports
- Deliver the programme effectively ensuring the content is engaging and administration is completed
- Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the band of the post and skills and qualifications of the postholder.
