Astute Recruitment has an amazing opportunity for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk with a thriving company which is based in Burton upon Trent to cover Maternity Leave for 16-18 months.

Responsibilities would include:

• Overseeing the companies Purchase Ledger processes
• Assisting the current Purchase Ledger team
• Setting up suppliers on the system
• Assisting to making sure the weekly payment runs are ready
• Making sure general day to day running of the Purchase Ledger is running smoothly and identifying any discrepancies with the vision of rectifying as soon as possible
• Liaising with people throughout the business if there is a back log of invoices
• Matching GRN's to invoices
• Batch, code and input invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Further Ad-Hoc duties that may arise

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent attention to detail and highly organised, a confident and clear communicator.

Someone who can work from their own initiative, but also as a team as well as individually.

It is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home hours a week.

You will receive a salary up to £25,000.
