Our Orchard Academy delivers the training needed to enhance our staff skills to maintain outstanding care to all the people we support.

Hourly rate - £9.75 - £11.09 per hour (higher rate upon proof of required qualification)

Working hours/pattern - Nights available

20:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs (Nights)


The Role:

Our Senior Care Assistants champion high quality care, compassion and resident dignity.

You will work closely with a Registered Nurse or Deputy Manager and take on responsibility for the physical, emotional well-being and social needs of our residents.

You will support and supervise a team of care staff, act as a role model delivering high quality care, and comply with clinical governance.


About you:


As a Senior Care Assistant you will be an ambassador of Orchard Care Homes, liaising with GPs, health professionals and the residents' families and friends, always promoting a professional and caring image of the home whilst championing our 6 core values; Enjoy Life, Welcoming, Kind, Professional, Positive and Respectful.

Whilst it's not imperative that you have a Level 3 qualification in health and social care, you need to possess your Level 2 and have a desire to achieve your Level 3 via our career pathway.
