Description

This is a key role within our ReedHycalog Quality team, working closely with the Purchasing teams and key suppliers.

You will have the opportunity to take control of all activities relating to off-site inspection activities of products and relevant documentation reviews.

As an inspector/specialist you will assist in updating the supplier records on the global database to ensure all qualification requirements have been met.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Liaise with Purchasing and UK vendors to arrange and perform onsite visits/product audits and inspections as necessary.
Ensure all manufactured product meets drawing and specification requirements.
Control and ensuring the accuracy of all project documentation related to manufactured products.
Completion of various inspection and quality reports as required.
Ensuring the traceability of all parts required and documentation trails are in place.
Recommend adjustments to the process.
Assist in maintaining an effective NOV RH quality management system.
Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

Qualifications:

HNC Engineering Subject or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred with business exposure or equivalent work experience (Desirable)

Experience:

Working knowledge of carrying out measurements with mechanical, optical or electronic measuring equipment.
Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry including disciplines and their duties and responsibilities (Desirable)

Skills, training or special knowledge

Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
Documentation; verifying that all is present and is correct in the project files related to the product.
Full driving licence essential as travel and overnight stays in the UK are required.
Working knowledge of industry standards API 16C standard, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, NORSOK, PED. (Desirable)
