Description
RMS are recruiting for a reputable client based in Port Clarence, Middlesbrough.

They require a responsible handyman who is willing to learn, enabling them to carry out overall general maintenance around the site.

This is a 38 hour week on dayshift. The rate of pay is £13.79 basic with overtime available

Hours are Mon - Thurs 07:45-16:30, Friday 07:45-12:4- Broad range of craftmanship and practical skills working in an industrial environment

  • Good understanding of Health and Safety
  • Ability to tackle several different tasks throughout the working week, a good work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work in a manual role in all weathers.

Reactive maintenance will require knowledge of:

  • Basic joinery
- plumbing
- removing blockages, drains sinks and toilets

  • Tiling
  • Replacing lights
  • Assisting with mechanical repairs
  • Drainage work
  • Basic computer literacy (word/excel/outlook)
  • Forklift experience (counterbalance) beneficial

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
£13.79 per hour
