This marketing executive role is ideal for a creative marketer, who is passionate about driving engagement in the Field and Channel and implementing marketing programs to help support regional pipeline targets for an award-winning Technology Company with ambitious growth plans.

Experience working in high growth, high energy company will be advantageous.

We are looking for an A-player who is experienced in managing a full and varied marketing program.

Working closely with the regional GTM (Go-To-Market) team, along with our global channel team, external partners and suppliers, and corporate marketing organisation, there will be a split focus of Field and Channel based activity.

On the Channel side focused on a combination of 'to' and 'through' scalable channel marketing programs to increase engagement and demand generation within the Reseller and MSP Channels, in addition to supporting recruitment requirements to support the wider strategic goals.

On the Field side, supporting the execution in our direct marketing engagement and awareness.

This exec role calls for strong organizational and execution skills, an understanding for thinking outside of the box to engage Channel stakeholders and buyers, whilst appreciating the importance of setting objectives and metrics, activity tracking, analysis and reporting.

A self-motivated, humble and strong team player is important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in close collaboration with the Regional Senior Field and Channel Marketing Managers, support the execution of key regional activities which informs and builds awareness and engagement with Mimecast.
Channel activities include, but are not limited to supporting the;

  • Regional Channel communications (both internal and external) and adapting to ensure they are regionally specific where appropriate
  • Planning and execution of Regional Partner connects (across UKI and RofE) and supporting the global running of the current virtual Partner connect.
  • Supporting longtail and MSP partners on scalable activities alongside of playbooks e.g. webinar programs, videos, on demand etc.
  • Continuous input into all global Channel Marketing initiatives
  • Executing Channel recruitment campaign roll outs both regionally, and global
  • Planning and execution of regional engagement and networking events i.e 3rd party awards, Networking receptions, partner awards etc.
  • Designing and executing regional mass engagement activities (such as social media campaigns, care packs etc.)
  • MSP and Reseller teams to deliver innovative and creative programs to achieve joint opportunity and pipeline goals.
Field marketing activities include, but are not limited to;

  • Supporting the ideation, planning and logistics of key events
  • Working closely with the BDR (Business development team) to ensure quick and thorough follow up of any activities
  • Supporting the delivery of key digital programs
  • Gain a broader understanding of the key target market, pain points, and focus areas to develop appropriate content and campaigns, and to guide the broader marketing team on approaches to support these segments.
  • Work closely with our Revenue Ops teams to utilize intent data, whitespace and partner research, to plan and execute campaigns to best support the region.
  • Work with product marketing, the campaigns & content team, and Sales enablement to ensure consistent production of content to support pipeline generation activities for the Field and Channel (such as campaign information, outbound assets, cheat sheets, case studies etc)
  • Own execution of your programs for the Field and Channel including but not limited to; planning, logistics, speaker and onsite management, budget, list management, follow up and reporting.
  • Track, measure and review regular reports of progress made, inbound and outbound response rates, contribution to pipeline and ROI. Utilising key reports to uncover trends to aid decision making, learnings and make optimization changes.
  • Continuously question our approach for Field and Channel Marketing and engagement through research, experimentation, and testing.
  • Working closely with our corporate marketing and global channels team to decipher best communication routes for our buyers and channel partners, and ensure we regularly review, test and refine.
Essential Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years' B2B marketing experience within a technology vendor
  • Creative thinker that will stretch the boundaries of traditional lead generation programs
  • An understanding of the marketplace and engagement models for the Field and Channel
  • A great team player, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Demonstrable experience of working closely with channel, sales, technical and management teams
  • Experience working with US based corporate marketing teams
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Worked closely with a variety of data analysis tools and formats, to aid decision making
  • Strong experience of Mar Tech and CR
