Description

This 12-month Digital Marketing role will provide marketing assistance for the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University.

Working with Corporate and Faculty marketing team, academics and students, the role will focus on developing new content and increasing the output on our current social media platforms, creating profile-raising digital assets from across the UG and PG course portfolio.

Additionally, the role will provide further support for face-to-face/applicant facing recruitment activities in the faculty at both Cambridge and Chelmsford campus.

Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00 Friday 8.30 to 16.30

Details / Requirements

Support the Faculty Marketing Manager (i) with the production of faculty marketing and other communication activities, (ii) to update the faculty social and digital media output (e.g., TikTok, Twitter), ensuring its timeliness, accuracy.

Be able to plan, capture and edit video for use on multiple digital platforms (e.g., online and social media)

Be proficient in video capturing and editing for use on multiple platforms (e.g., online and social media)

Monitor and evaluate engagement rates from digital activity and campaigns.

Contribute to a variety of proof-reading and copy writing tasks

Support the in-person on-campus/online student recruitment activities and subsequent conversion activity including direct communication with potential applicants, answering queries or directing them to ARU depts as needed.

Support the faculty marketing team in their wider activities as needed (e.g., Open Days, Clearing, Conversion activity etc.)

Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR requirements in all working practices maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, accuracy, currency and security of information as appropriate.

Take personal responsibility for all personal data within own working environment.

Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade.
