Description


As the Insight and Data Analyst, you will be collaborating with the wider marketing team and helping them make better informed decisions by your ability to interpret data and make suitable recommendations.


You will be passionate about working in a commercial and customer focused role and want an opportunity for a well established business to reach their potential through your skills, talent and experience of optimising data.


Focusing on customer journey and behaviour you will be spending your time evaluating data from both their website and third party websites.

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data joining platforms and data analytics software to accelerate and enhance business data analysis.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Build and maintain cross departmental KPI dashboards that surface meaningful insights for real time decision making
  • Proactively interpret data, analyse results, interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and executive summaries to key stakeholders
  • Work with department heads to prioritise business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Profile


You will have gained some good experience within a consumer focused business within a Data Analyst role and are ambitious and determined to fast track your career within a forward thinking business.

You will ideally have a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics but if you have strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau etc), databases (SQL etc) or programming (XML,Javascript, or ETL we definitely want to speak to you

Ultimately you will have technical knowledge regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques and be a confident communicator who really wants to add value to a business
