Description
Teaching fellows will be work for the Division of Medical Education, School of Medical Sciences. The Division leads the delivery of an innovative undergraduate medical programme (the MBChB) to over 2300 students. In addition, the Division is home to several successful post-graduate programmes.

Whilst your primary role will be to support the delivery of teaching activity related to consultation skills teaching and anatomy demonstrating, there will be further opportunities to co-tutor in years 1 & 2 physiology/ pharm teaching, help mentor group portfolio sessions, participate in teaching related Ethics & Law and Behavioral and Social Science, support students in their Personal Excellence Path project, and to tutor year 3-5 students in prescribing and medicines safety as they prepare for their Prescribing Safety Assessment.

As the year progresses, we aim to help each CTF develop areas of interest in teaching available.

For example, we envisage that 6 of the CTFs will develop more experience in anatomy demonstration, particularly helpful for those applicants who plan to pursue a career in surgery or pathology.

One CTF will provide more focus for prescribing and medicines safety education, including preparation for assessment in this area.

As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status.

All appointments are made on merit.
