Job summary


The Short Course team offer a range of courses for the community and employers running throughout the year, during the day, evenings and at the weekend.

You will support the Head of Short Courses across the full range of short course activities, developing new courses, project planning and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.


The wider Enterprise and Innovation team has been set ambitious income goals and the aim of creating an ethos of innovation across the University.

You will support these objectives, by developing the short course portfolio working closely with the Head of Short Courses and other members of the team, as well as staff across the University.


You will have an interest in adult education, strong interpersonal and experience of working with a range of different people.

You will have plenty of initiative and be able to work on a wide variety of different projects, managing competing deadlines and working under pressure.

The role will be varied and you will need to be willing to turn your hand to a wide range of different activities and be willing to occasionally work in the evening and at the weekend.
