Our client is based locally in Newbury are going through an exciting period of growth and due to a recent restructure are now looking to recruit an ambitious Business Support Manager to over see the smooth running of their head office, regional offices andprovide EA support to the Directors.

This is a newly created role and will report directly to the Directors of the business.

It will oversee 1 member of staff and will suit a commercially minded person who can manage and improve the organisation's support operations.


Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Providing professional and confidential support for the Board of Directors and staff, whilst maintaining and championing our core business values.
  • Ensuring the smooth operational function of the office.
  • Providing key administrative support across all key functions of the business including business development, commercial administration, staff & recruitment and current projects.

Executive Director support

  • Attendance and support at Group Board meetings and other key meetings as directed, providing professional support, minute taking and preparation of board reports
  • Maintaining the strictest confidence and professional support at all times
  • The Management of legal and contract documents, ensuring confidence and security as appropriate.

Business Support

  • The Management of all service & facility agreements including IT support and office rental agreements
  • The management of office supplies, ensuring the smooth operation of all support functions.
  • Support in complying with data protection legislation.
  • Organising the office layout, operations and procedures. Enforcing clear desk policy and compliance with company standards.
  • Supporting all staff as needed to ensure consistent, effective crossfunctional communication. Acting
  • Liaise with landlord, building management, security, facility management vendors and maintenance team as needed.


This role will suit someone who has strong organisational skills, been responsible for improving systems and polices and who has interacted with board level directors.

Management of staff and of a office is essential.
