DK Recruitment are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their client's team on a permanent basis.
Whilst this role is based in Plymouth it would suit someone based in Cornwall as you will be required to travel to Truro and you can work a Hybrid model with a mixture of site work, home working and attending the office for meetings when required.
As one of the companies Contracts Managers you will manage a mobile self-delivery team, contract Administrators and various specialist key supply chain specialist sub-contractors for the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Planned Maintenance, ReactiveWorks, Small Works and Minor Capital Replacement Projects across Cornwall.
Role Responsibilities
- Working within Operational Budgets and constraints
- Provide costs for capital projects, plant replacement schemes
- Appointing Sub Contractors
- Provide budget information, and compiling financial reports
- Ensure all commercial terms issued to supply chains are back to back with each contracted requirement.
- Carry out auditing to our quality systems including: Gas Safe, Oftec, NICEIC, SHEQ, Compliance, and workmanship inspections
- Ensure continuity of statutory training for all operatives undertaking work of this nature
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of one trade qualification, with the emphases in Electrical Installations of Gas & Mechanical Ventilation Installations
- Commercially astute
- Knowledge of measuring works from design and management of costs against revenue of project awarded.
