DK Recruitment are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their client's team on a permanent basis.

Whilst this role is based in Plymouth it would suit someone based in Cornwall as you will be required to travel to Truro and you can work a Hybrid model with a mixture of site work, home working and attending the office for meetings when required.

As one of the companies Contracts Managers you will manage a mobile self-delivery team, contract Administrators and various specialist key supply chain specialist sub-contractors for the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Planned Maintenance, ReactiveWorks, Small Works and Minor Capital Replacement Projects across Cornwall.

Role Responsibilities

Working within Operational Budgets and constraints
Provide costs for capital projects, plant replacement schemes
Appointing Sub Contractors
Provide budget information, and compiling financial reports
Ensure all commercial terms issued to supply chains are back to back with each contracted requirement.
Carry out auditing to our quality systems including: Gas Safe, Oftec, NICEIC, SHEQ, Compliance, and workmanship inspections
Ensure continuity of statutory training for all operatives undertaking work of this nature

Essential Requirements

Minimum of one trade qualification, with the emphases in Electrical Installations of Gas & Mechanical Ventilation Installations
Commercially astute
Knowledge of measuring works from design and management of costs against revenue of project awarded.
