Description

We have a contract for a
Band 6 Cellular PathologySpecialist Biomedical Scientist, for our client based in
Buckinghamshire.

The client is a medium sized district hospital, employing little over 4000 staff. The trust provides an increasing number of specialist services to the growing population across Buckinghamshire.

The Role:

5 hrs p/w
Weekend work required
Cellular Pathology lab

Qualifications and Experience required:

HCPC registered as a Biomedical Scientist.
We require at least 2 years post registrations, hospital laboratory experience in a Cellular Pathology laboratory.
Section cutting experience
Able to cut 40+ blocks per hour
Embedding and special stains experience
Able to cut levels and serial sections
Microtomy skills

This role is under the Direct Engagement payment model and the range of pay is
£19- £22 p/h std.
