An accountancy firm within an easy commute of Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester and Nottingham are seeking to hire someone with experience of working within an accountancy firm at anywhere between a Semi Senior grade up to qualified Accountant.

Youmust have experience of working in practice to be considered, but the firm can support your ongoing development with both study support and professional development.


An established accountancy practice are offering a varied and well supported position where the salary range will depend upon experience / qualification level, but the firm do pay competitively and offer a solid role for the right person plus study supportfor AAT / ACCA where required.

Parking is included.


JOB 1) They would like someone who is a competent practice bookkeeper, who can perhaps also cope with preparing management accounts once the bookkeeping is completed. If you have not prepared management accounts, that wouldn't be a problem.
The key thing is that the person hired is competent and thorough in terms of bookkeeping, VAT Returns etc.

This employer could consider part-time if necessary and they would consider assistance with studies (whether AAT or even ACCA, if appropriate).


JOB 2) The second position is for a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant. You would be need to have good, practical experience in the preparation of Limited Company and Partnership accounts. You might be ACCA part qualified, AAT qualified oran active studier at any level. The firm would be seeking practical experience gained from working in practice, so that you can hit the ground running.


They do have a few audits (though this is a very small part of their business, albeit important), so you would expect to be involved in the audits - total time spent on audits in any one year is only a few weeks in total.

Systems used will include Sage AccountsProduction, Sage Compliance, Xero, Microsoft Word and Excel.
