Description

Milk Education is partnering with and supporting an outstanding SEN Primary School in the heart of Salford. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant.

This Primary School caters to children with moderate to severe learning difficulties,with fantastic facilities to accommodate the needs of the children, including, a hydrotherapy pool, soft play room, sensory room, and fabulous outdoor learning spaces.

This position is full-time and to be filled as soon as possible.

Location:
Salford

Pay:
£72-£82

Start date:
To be filled long-term for January

Responsibilities:

To work under the direction of the teacher in small groups and on a onetoone basis
Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils' work
Work closely with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets/appropriate to EYFS
Assist with the planning of learning activities
Monitor pupil's responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement, progress, problems etc

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent childcare qualification i.e., Childhood Degree/Early childhood studies
Have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be familiar with the seven areas of development
Be fully available now or in January 2023
