Description
The post holder will support the development of high quality resuscitation services. He/she will be part of a team which will deliver a comprehensive, educational, advisory, clinical, investigative and evidence-based service.

  • The post holder will contribute to the delivery of highquality standards of resuscitation training and expertise within the Trust, in close association with other members of the Resuscitation team and other Trust professionals.
  • To Support the Resuscitation Officer in the organisation and training of both basic and advanced life support for all groups of staff within the Trust as required. This includes medical, paramedical and the professions allied to medicine plus all other staff who as employees of the Trust are required to have resuscitation skills. Training must in line with Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines and the post holder must be abreast of national developments in the field.
  • The role will also include the provision of defibrillation training to specified staff groups in both manual and advisory modes and to train cascade trainers within the Trust.
