BlackRock's Report Onboarding (RO) function is accountable for ensuring that BlackRock meets our clients' need for data, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service.

As a part of the team you will formulate thesuccessful delivery of critical reporting and distribution functions daily and partner with colleagues to craft and advance a globally aligned vision and business model.


You will:

  • Lead a team responsible for onboarding clients onto our reporting offering, ensuring a seamless initial client experience
  • Analyse and implement the impact of portfolio change across a client's reporting suite. Take ownership for endtoend delivery and ongoing service management
  • Optimally plan and run product improvement and change into business processes
  • Set mediumterm resource and training goals to build greater sustainability of support across the team
  • Partner with global peers to implement a consistent, scalable and controllable operational platform.
  • Build strong partnership and work close and collaboratively with data source providers and client business partners to improve product offering; quality and timeliness of product.
  • Demonstrate risk awareness through delivering an appropriate operational control framework around client outputs including review and validation of monthly metrics.
  • Build a customercentric team through increased product knowledge and focus on successful delivery
  • Hire talent that can operate independently and with understanding of context
  • Be an operational leader providing improvement input within client reporting.
To ensure success, you will have the following qualifications:

  • A keen interest in investment products with a preference of 10+years of financial services experience, especially client onboarding, communications or data visualisation
  • Highly developed client service skills and autonomy in dealing directly with partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in data retrieval tools, for example Advanced Excel, SQL or Python skills would be desirable
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to go beyond the scope of one's role to achieve team and firm objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail, very accurate and well organised
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesise information, summarise issues and think creatively
  • Sharp control/risk mitigation mentality with ability to know when to raise issues
