As a Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.


Responsibilities:


An exciting opportunity has arisen within St Helens Integrated Recovery Service, for a permanent Recovery coordinator Opiates post to work across St Helens.


St Helens Integrated Recovery Service offers rapid and open access to assessment and interventions for people experiencing issues with drugs and / or alcohol.

St Helens are promoting movement from addiction to independence by providing a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions, including one-to-one structured support, Foundation of Recovery, community detoxification and Harm Reduction interventions.


We operate from several locations including local hostels and GP surgeries we are rapidly developing an innovative and exciting service offer including piloting quite different ways of working and new technologies.


Under the direction of the Team Leader the post holder will have care co-ordination responsibilities alongside the tasks of recovery planning, risk assessing, risk management planning and client-centred reviews.


In addition, knowledge and experience of Medically Assisting Recovery and psychosocial interventions, engage collaboratively alongside colleagues - including peer mentors, volunteers, nurses and doctors, to ensure an integrated package of care.

You will be committed to a positive, holistic and empowering approach to care co-ordination and will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and alcohol dependence, to enable service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long-term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.
