The Vacancy
As an Activities Team Leader at The Grove, you will work in a high performing environment and be responsible for inspiring the team as well as setting the direction for day-to-day activities and tasks.
You will help ensure all guests have unforgettable experiences delivered with genuine hospitality, leaving them feeling fulfilled, refreshed and rewarded.
Being proactive, self-driven, and a fantastic communicator, you'll be able to operate independently as well as with teams from different departments.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:- Take ownership of shift and service delivery ensuring all team are meeting set expectations.
- Confidently deal with any guest concerns
- Hosting activities
- Working with the other departments to deliver a full and exciting activities program
- Work with the team to help keep our activities centre clean & safe, strictly adhering to all standard operating procedures
- Help facilitate the team with all the tools and resources, enabling them to proudly deliver our activity offering with genuine hospitality
- Assisting in stock control management
About you
- An excellent communicator with an ability to lead, motivate a team and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to quickly become familiar with bespoke databases
- Flexible, punctual, organised and efficient
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Problemsolving skills
- Keen interest in culture and sport
- High sense of responsibility, organization, and initiative;
- Desirable qualifications: NPLQ, SPTO, TA, ArcheryGB Instructor or any other recognised sports and activity instructor awards
