Description
To supervise and provide support for pupils, including those with

additional needs and including those in the Specialist Resourced

Provision as directed, ensuring their safety and access to learning

activities.

  • To establish high expectations of what each child can achieve and
promote self-esteem and independence.

  • To provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and
achievement under the guidance of the teacher.

  • To assist with the planning, preparation, delivery and
assessment/evaluation of purposeful learning activities, as

directed.

  • To Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately
recording achievement and progress, as directed.

  • To Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers and SENCO
on pupils' achievement, progress, problems, etc.

  • To undertake intervention programmes, after receiving training,
linked to local and national learning strategies, recording progress

and feeding back to the teacher and SENCO.

  • Assist in supporting the use of IT in learning activities and
developing pupils' competence and independence in its use.

  • Assist in providing some clerical/administrative support such as
photocopying, typing, filing and assisting with the display of pupils'

work as needed.

  • Keeping fully briefed on current school information by reading
  • To participate in training, INSET days, other learning activities and
CPD meetings, as required by contract.

  • Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures
relating to safeguarding, health & safety, security, confidentiality

and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate

member of staff.

£6.60 per hour
