An exciting Behaviour Mentor opportunity has become available, working with primary aged pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.

** £400 - £450 per week

The Behaviour Mentor:


To be eligible for this Behaviour Mentor role, you must have experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils with challenging behaviour.

It is important that you are a patient Behaviour Mentor with strong communication skills and a good understanding of the additionalneeds of the pupils you are working with.

Several pupils have EHCPs, and there is a relatively high intake of pupils on the SEND register. You must hold a Level 3 Behaviour Mentor qualification to be eligible for this position.

The Behaviour Mentor Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting teaching and learning in classrooms and providing behaviour management support.

You will also work with the pastoral team to provide specialist 1:1 intervention support for pupils in need of additional assistancewith their wellbeing or with managing challenging behaviour.


The School:


This Pupil Referral Unit based in Central Birmingham caters for KS1 and KS2 pupils with SEMH issues, SEN and challenging behaviour that cannot be met by mainstream schools, resulting in permanent exclusion.

There is excellent training offered to staff and leadershipis incredibly supportive.
