An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RGN/AHP to undertake a band 7 Clinical Team leader role in Walk-In-Centres.
We currently have two positions:
Garston & Halewood
The Mersey Care Walk-in Centres assess and treat patients with minor illness and injuries. They are open 8am to 8.30pm 7days per week. The service is nurse led and offers both an appointment or walk-in service. The clinical nurse manager is a joint operational and clinical role within a specified site across the service.
The post holder is required to have experience in undertaking autonomous clinical examinations, forming a diagnosis and have the ability to treat patients with undifferentiated minor injuries and illnesses.
They will also need to provide advice on health related issues, and welcome the challenge of working as an autonomous practitioner.
Qualifications in Clinical Examination/ diagnostic's/ NMP and Supervision are essential for this role.Our aim is to provide appropriate, high quality and personal interventions which will improve health and well-being for patients.

Role will include:
- Clinical examination & diagnostic's of patients
- Following of H.R / finance procedures/policy
- Returning audits.
- Engaging in SLT meetings across the service line as appropriate
- Leadership and management of a team
