_Our client is seeking to appoint a skilled individual with experience across Import, Export and Stock Control to join their team You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills This is a highly varied role where the ability to managean ever-changing workload is essential.

Responsibilities:


  • To process purchase and sales orders and raising all necessary documentation associated with this which includes requesting currency, checking customer credit and special requirements. Liaising with customers, suppliers, and sales team. Internal liaisonwith the logistics and accounts department to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Providing sales and administrative support to the Sales Team, involving efficient handling of top and confidential documents
  • Communicating with the Sales Team for status of orders and aiding with the overall efficiency of the team
  • Internal stock control, to liaise with the warehouses and logistics/admin assistants to ensure that all stock levels are correct and accounted for. Preparation of end of month reports for submitting to management team.
  • To process delivery requests for our customers throughout the UK and overseas ensuring that we meet the customer delivery requirements and comply with internal procedures. Receiving and checking documents and releasing materials in connection with importsand exports for the company. Liaising with warehouses, shipping lines and suppliers regarding all aspects of imports and exports.
  • Liaising with senior sales team, preparation of quotes, costings, problem solving and assisting internal and external staff.

  • Great communicator
  • Passionate, hard worker and well organised with power to prioritize and multitask
  • Be ambitious with the desire to understand the business and assist in its growth
  • Be flexible and having the ability to use initiative.
  • Computer skills which include knowledge of Excel and Word
