Cross-Whitehall engagement on legal text and policy positions will also be a large part of the role, along with advising senior officials and ministers on negotiating positions.

The Core Text team is a high performing and supportive team that champions flexible working and values the benefits of diversity and inclusion.

We prioritise the learning and development of our team, with a focus on personal development of the whole team, as well as ensuring we are as knowledgeable and well-equipped as possible to fulfil our roles in negotiating the UK's independent trade agreements.

Quality assurance of proposed treaty text and negotiation parameters, delivering high quality products at pace.

Engaging with Whitehall departments to ensure coherence of policy positions, playing a leading role in cross Whitehall forums, including the Cross Cutting Issues in FTAs Cross Whitehall Working Group.
