Description
Responsible for organising and planning own caseload in order to meet service and patient priorities. Readjusting plans as situations change / arise.

Record caseload activity and report as required by the Trust according to complementary therapy guidelines and trust policies Adhere to the policy relating to the safe use and storage of essential oils.

To order essential oils as required.

Be an active member of regular in-service training within the Complementary Therapy department preparing and providing sessions as appropriate. Assist in the orientation and integration of new Complementary Therapy staff members. Comply with the Trust Manual Handling Policy at all times. Abide by the Trusts Health and safety Policies.

Complete required mandatory training. Be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of complementary therapies, in particular reflexology.

Provide a holistic approach to patients and their carers, in collaboration with the other members of the multidisciplinary team, to ensure the provision of the highest quality of care.
