Out of Hours Manager, Supported Living - £30-35k (Southeast London)

Hours: 09.00pm-06.00am


Days:
Mon-Fri (with some expectations of working some weekends)


We have an opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced supported housing professional to lead and support the team working out of hours to ensure that a safe and effective support provision is maintained to continuously meet the needs of our residents.


Dinardo Care & Support operate several supported accommodation locations throughout South London and have been established for more than 20 years.

We accommodate vulnerable adults with a range of support needs.


The aim of providing a high-quality service, ensuring the personal goals and objectives of each of our residents are continually met, is at the heart of everything we do.


Main Responsibilities:


As an out of hours manager, you will be responsible for managing night staff, taking responsibility for their deployment, and monitoring their work to ensure that high quality support is provided n line with residents' individual needs and that this remainsperson centred.

You will be required to travel between sites and supervise the operation of that service.


You will maintain effective communication with all stakeholders including the management and business support teams, family members and external stakeholders e.g.

Primary Care Services, Mental Health Teams


About you:


  • Previous experience in a management position within a supported accommodation setting
  • Good written skills in order to produce accurate, factual reports
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to undergo training to enhance your own personal development and your team's.
  • Able to set priorities and boundaries
  • Have an understanding of and be proactive in promoting equal opportunities at all times and be able to challenge discrimination at all levels.
  • Be empathic and understanding to the needs of residents at all times
  • Commitment to engage and involve residents in seeking continuous service improvement
  • Knowledge of adult safeguarding protocols and protection of vulnerable adults.
  • Understanding of mental health conditions, complex needs and substance misuse
