Description

Band 7 Physiotherapy Team Lead (Acute Intervention) - Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - Royal Liverpool Hospital site - Permanent/Full Time (37.5 hours)

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT) has teams of experienced and highly skilled AHP staff working in a wide range of acute specialty areas.

They are an integral part of the MDT, providing for the acute therapy needs of patients and supporting their safe early transition out of the acute Trust.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Acute Medicine Therapy Team based at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

Specialities include Gerontology, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Clinical Pharmacology, Nephrology and Renal Transplant, Diabetic Medicine, Haematology and Palliative Care.

In these settings, physiotherapists have a key role in high level clinical reasoning, risk identification and problem solving to enable patients to maintain their independence and to work collaboratively with other members of the MDT to support patient discharge at the earliest safe opportunity.
