The role

The role centres on managing, optimising and improving demand planning and supply forecasting for the Direct Supply Chain within TalkTalk.

This role requires confident engagement with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.

Sales & Operational Planning is an integral part of this role.

Having previous experience of the S&OP process, including influencing and managing key stakeholders, will be key, along with a good understanding and experience of extended supply chains.

An experienced Supply Chain professional with significant demand planning experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

Management of demand planning, including maintenance of the device demand calculation model.
Accountable for the S&OP Product, Demand and Supply processes and review meetings, aligning business to deliver on sales plans.
Provide insight and analysis on demand variance.
Managing the master delivery intake schedule.
Leading Supply Chain's New Project Introduction engagement on new router products.
Managing supplier engagement for small portfolio of suppliers
Continuous Improvement.
Lead on Model Office to Supply Chain Team engagement.

To be successful in the role

Significant Demand Planning experience.
Strong communication skills dealing with internal stakeholders and external Suppliers.
Ability to influence at all levels within the business.
Ability to problem solve and provide scenario planning.
Strong forecasting, demand and supply and stock management experience.
Negotiation skills (for suppliers scheduling and logistics costs).
Highly analytical.
Expert level excel.
