  • My client, a market leading manufacturer in Shrewsbury are looking for a driven salesorientated individual to join their business as a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis._
  • This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and selfmotivated individual to join a vibrant marketing team. This job offers a competitive salary alongside excellent opportunities for progression._

_Purpose:
_


  • To followup and generate leads from inbound inquiries, internal database, data lists and events, to sales qualify and create sales opportunities to be followedup and closed by sales team._

_Key Responsibilities:
_

- _A passion for identifying customer problems and solutions and relationship building to generate engaged, well-qualified opportunities for sales._
- _A commercial approach to qualifying - understanding the decision-making process and able to accurately find key decision makers and influencers._
- _Reach monthly opportunity targets determined by the marketing manager._
- _Work closely within the sales & marketing team, ensuring continuous growth of opportunity pipeline._
- _Maintain well organised, up-to-date and accurate opportunity and activity reports in CRM system._
- _Develop a strong knowledge of products and services and use this knowledge to effectively pitch to various customer markets._
- _Ability to work through qualification criteria thoroughly and objectively, ensuring opportunities generated fall within the target customer profile._


_Key Skills:
_

- _Sales experience in a new business._
- _Articulate and engaging on the phone._
- _Persuasive in approach._
- _Self-disciplined and results focused._
- _Highly motivated, driven and possesses a sense of urgency._
- _Computer literacy / familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)_
- _Ability to maintain and nurture relationships._
