The Lancaster Environment Centre is one of the world's largest centres for environmental research and teaching.

Our mission is to perform world-leading fundamental research, using that research to advance understanding across society and to help solve global environmental challenges.

A critical part of our endeavour is teaching and developing people to live within, and contribute positively to, more sustainable places and environments.

We wish to appoint one full time Senior Teaching Associate (Grade 7) for 12 months.


The post will cover undergraduate teaching and learning need related to human geography modules including Geographical Skills in a Changing World in the academic year 2023/24.

This post has been created specifically to have a positive impact on the student experience and to enhance teaching quality.

Teaching responsibilities will also include tutorials, dissertation supervision, assessment and marking.
