What You Will Do:


As a Process Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple processes to ensure the controlled recording, evaluation, testing, implementation, documentation, and review of changes to the service infrastructure, including service assets and configuration items.

You will be responsible for facilitating the smooth transition of new services or major modifications to existing services into production.

Utilizing standardized methods, you will effectively manage all changes and releases across environments, mitigating risks to the availability, performance, security, and compliance of business services.

  • Possess a good understanding of statistical and analytical principles and processes.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships across the IT function, effectively sharing knowledge to enhance overall effectiveness.

  • Display commercial acumen and comprehend the holistic impact of IT service costs and value on business operations.
  • Exhibit financial acumen, capable of managing a substantial budget and internal financial processes.
  • Possess a high level of personal credibility, impact, and influence, with a proven ability to work effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Proven ability to develop robust working relationships across the IT function, fostering knowledge sharing to contribute to project and service improvement initiatives.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for technology, coupled with the ability to advocate for its adoption within the firm using businessfriendly language. Actively seek opportunities that yield tangible business benefits.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Knowledge:


  • Possess a solid understanding and working knowledge of the ITIL disciplines, particularly Change, Release & Transition Management.
  • Familiarity with the development lifecycle for technologies employed by the firm.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architectures, with practical expertise in Change Management principles and processes required for implementing and delivering services.

Experience:


  • Practical experience in IT Change/Release Management within a complex IT operations environment.
  • Proven experience in transitioning complex, critical services into live operation.
  • Strong experience in a managed service environment.
  • Proficient in project management and project frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, with excellent numeracy, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Change, Release, and Service Management as defined in ITIL Version
  • Strong experience and ability to prioritize tasks, execute them efficiently, and make sound decisions in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Process Specialist in any of the ITIL functions.
- "Planning, Protection, and Optimisation" & "Release Control and Validation"

  • ITIL Service Capability qualification. Alternatively, completion of the Service Lifecycle ITIL modules
  • Intermediate qualification.
