An opportunity has arisen for a Bar & Bistro Assistant to join our amazing team at Shinfield View, a beautiful purpose-built, all-inclusive luxury care home in Reading.


  • A part time 14 hour contract and a full time 40 hour contract is available.
or and on occasion a late evening finish.

  • Alternate weekends.


We would love to hear from caring and compassionate individuals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional food, dining, bar and beverage experience, who have a high attention to detail, and understand what outstanding customer service looks like.


The Bar & Bistro Assistant role will be responsible for serving our residents in the bar and bistro area their meals, snacks, drinks and dining experience, ensuring the area is kept fully stocked and clean and tidy in all areas.

Part of the role is to work with our events team to help coordinate events and entertainment in the bar and bistro area, and ensure the service meets the needs and expectations of our residents.

No previous experience of working in hospitality is needed as all training is provided.
