Job overview:


We are looking to recruit 1 enthusiastic Registered Nursing Associate to become TNA support facilitator and work with the TNA team across the Northern Care Alliance with the direct entry and apprenticeship TNA's.

The post holder will be required to support the transition of the Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) to the Nursing Associate (NA) role.

The TNA/NA facilitator will support the TNA's in practice, deliver education and training, support with progress review meetings and embed the role of the TNA/NA in to clinical areas.

Must have 12 months experience as a Registered Nursing Associate and have been signed off with medication competencies


Main duties of the job:

Working in collaboration with the NCA TNA team, HEI's, ward managers, practice supervisors and assessors, TNA's and NA's.

Supporting TNA's/NA's out in practice

Supporting TNA's with progress review meetings

Developing and delivering training and education

Working collaboratively with the Preceptorship team

Embed the role of the TNA/NA in practice

  • Self declared as practice supervisor

Desirable criteria:


  • Some evidence of teaching experience in practice

Experience:


Essential criteria:


  • 612 month experience as an NA
- good communication skills
- understands the role


Desirable criteria:


  • Familiarity with the apprenticeship programme
