Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Drugs Worker role for our client in Town Hall

The successful post holder will be able to demonstrate competently working with children and young people, who are at risk of drugs and other substance misuse and provide a range of 1:1 interventions and onward referral where required

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

One-to-one interventions
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team
To develop services to young people at risk of substance misuse or the effects of substance misuse by adults around them
Developing and providing the CPD Drugs training and developing the training package for professionals
Managing your own caseload of children and young people
Contributing to the development and supervision of other workers
Maintaining electronic client records
Undertake YOS Assessments with children and young people to inform interventions and referral where appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

Professional qualification working with young people (for example teaching, probation, social work, youth and community work, health) to degree level or equivalent
Hold a full driving license
Experience of directly working with young people with substance misuse issues
ICT Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

WORKING HOURS AND RATE:

Mon - Fri, 08:45am - 17:00pm
