37.5 Hours per week (Permanent)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to work in the Wheelchair Service at The James Cook University Hospital.

The post holder will be employed as a Senior Specialist to lead in the development of the Wheelchair Service at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be expected to have substantial experience in the field of wheelchair provision and postural management and to also have relevant post graduate study, ideally at Masters level.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team and on your own, frequently using your own initiative and problem-solving skills.

You will work with a wide multidisciplinary team and be involved with clients with a range of medical, social and emotional problems.

The successful applicant will have good communication and literacy skills and basic computer skills.

Continuous professional development will be actively encouraged and the post holder will be supported to develop their knowledge and skills with regular support and clinical supervision from the Senior Therapists/ Team Lead.
