We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative Supervisor to join our dynamic Test Services & Site Facilities team.

Purpose

We are seeking a Supervisor to be based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Cranfield to lead and develop the Technician teams within NLH Test Services to deliver test results in a timely and safe manner

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Provide technical and manpower leadership for technical area(s)
Ensure delivery of tests to N.E.M. standards.
Support completion of test data analysis, concern identification and proposal of countermeasures.
Training, development and performance management of staff including full delivery of PADR process
Lead facility management inclusive of maintenance, facility calibration, risk assessment and training.
Lead technicians to raise / issue test reports and liaise with test / design engineers to close concern items.
Manage pro-active production of technical operating procedures relating to NEM tests / facility operation.
Lead specific items and input into NLH RF1 to maintain Health & Safety, improve efficiency, and capture knowledge

Background and Experience

Recognised Apprenticeship (Electrical or Mechanical)
Capable of operating and understanding equipment, associated with relevant testing area.
Experience of vehicle assembly/testing techniques and procedures in relevant area of responsibility.
Understanding of Nissan development process.
Good inter-personal skills for co-ordinating activities with internal / external customers / suppliers
Quality conscious with keen attention to detail
Flexible to support periods of off-site working.
Ability to plan and manage own workload
IT literate, competent user of all Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
