Location:
The site is based in North Northamptonshire and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden, Corby, Peterborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray and Grantham
Your duties and responsibilities will involve:
- Designing and managing experimental work for the products
- Planning projects, designing experiments and scheduling workloads
- Running, analysing and reporting results and recommendations for review with the Technical Team
- Developing and improving test criteria for new products
- Conducting performance tests across the product range including tests to check tensile strength, adhesion, surface compatibility drying time and weathering to understand the uses and limitations of the products
- Assisting in the formulation, development and analysis of the products
- Creating and editing safety data sheets (SDS) and writing technical data sheets (TDS) using industry software
- Providing Technical Support to the internal team and dealing with customer queries
Your Background:
- Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Experience in product development in the chemical industry
- Project management experience essential
- Good formulation, product testing and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (most of which will be with internal staff)
Benefits:
- Salary of £35,000 £40,000
